Job Description Job Title : Product Safety & Regulatory Compliance .Specialist, Asia Pacific Main Responsibilities : 1. Prepares MSDSs and labels and assures that they reflect finished product compositions and properties; contributes to the development of enhancements to MSDS and label database programs. 2. Prepares standardized responses and processes for responding to customer inquires on regulatory matters. 3. Reviews product compositions to assure compliance with chemical control regulations and assists in the preparation of any requested notifications to government agencies. 4. Develops and maintains a dossier on issues and questions associated with a product or product group, their end use / applications and sampling / testing / analytical data which addresses these issues. Competencies and Qualifications Desired 1. Minimum BS degree in chemistry or related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years experience in regulatory affairs. 3. Exceptionally detail oriented. 4. Strong oral and written communication skills. 5. Fluency in English. 6. Good Knowledge of Chinese and New Zealandian regulatory laws. Knowledge of other Asian regulatory laws is a strong plus.
